OSHNA Home Tour

By Shawn - Posted on 02 April 2009

The Old Seminole Heights Neighborhood Association (OSHNA) will be holding its 11th annual home tour on Sunday April 5th. The tour is considered one of the largest and best run in Tampa Bay.

The tour runs from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm and is based out of the Hillsborough High School. There is plenty of parking at the school and the school itself will be showing off recent renovations. The principle and students will be on site to guide guests through the school.

Houses on this year's tour date from the late 1800s through the mid 1920s in keeping with the theme pulled from OSHNA's documentary. You will be able to walk through an old farm house, church, craftsman bungalows, and cottages. Some of these homes have undergone extensive renovation and others have changed very little over the years.

Tickets are $10 for early sales and for members with their coupons the day of the tour. Otherwise, the fee is $15. The tickets include air conditioned trolleys but you may also drive yourself, walk, or ride a bicycle (lock-ups and a guided path provided).

Make this an even better day by stopping into a local restaurant for brunch before the tour!
